Privacy Policy — The New Black AI for Claude
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the The New Black AI connector for Claude (the “Connector”), operated by The New Black AI (“we”, “us”), handles data when you connect it to Claude via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It applies to the connector hosted at mcp.thenewblack.ai. Your use of the underlying The New Black AI service is also governed by our main Privacy Policy.
1. Data we process
- Your The New Black AI API key. When you connect, you provide your API key. We store it encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and use it solely to authenticate generation requests to The New Black AI on your behalf.
- Prompts & reference images. Text prompts, public image URLs, and images you upload through the connector are sent to The New Black AI to generate the content you request. Uploaded images are stored to create a temporary public URL used for the generation.
- Generation job data. We keep a minimal record per generation (a job identifier, status, the resulting media URL, and media type) so results can be delivered back into your Claude chat. The generated media itself is hosted by The New Black AI.
- Session gallery. We store the URLs of media generated within a connector session so your results can be restored if you refresh the page.
- Authentication tokens. We store hashed, opaque access tokens issued during the OAuth connection to keep your session authenticated.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your prompts or generated content for advertising.
2. How we use data
- To authenticate you to The New Black AI and run the generations you request.
- To deliver generation results back into Claude and let you review, reuse and download them.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the connector.
3. Storage & security
- API keys are encrypted at rest; all traffic is over HTTPS.
- Data is stored using Supabase (database and file storage); the connector is hosted on Vercel.
- Access to stored data is restricted to the connector's server components.
4. Third parties / subprocessors
- Anthropic (Claude) — the AI client through which you use the connector.
- The New Black AI — the service that generates your images and videos.
- Supabase — database and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
5. Data retention
- Your encrypted API key is retained until you disconnect the connector or request deletion.
- Uploaded reference images and job/gallery records are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and are deleted periodically.
- You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).
6. Your choices
- Disconnect the connector in Claude → Settings → Connectors at any time to stop further processing.
- Request deletion of your stored data by contacting us.
7. Children
The connector is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
9. Contact
